The Hangar is one of the many famous Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater maps originally featured in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2. Longtime fans will immediately notice all the flying machines in the area, which are a key part of how the hangtime gaps are completed. Although it should be noted that players should build up speed and be familiar with the boneless trick (which isn’t too difficult) before attempting these jumps.

As players ramp down at the start of the level they will see a large ramp with several rails joining it to another parallel ramp to their right. Players simply need to leap off the first ramp and clear the second to achieve the first hangtime gap. After doing this, players can go up the ramps that surround the map to maintain a combo in typical Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater style or simply keep up their speed for the next jump. When landing head right and players will see a small airplane with a ramp on either side. Players simply need to ride up this plane and jump to the opposite ramp and the second hangtime jump is done.

Players then need to go up the ramp that runs along the ramp once more and smash through the glass. There will be a helicopter there and players need to jump it, this is a large jump so plenty of speed is required but by doing a boneless off the ramp players should clear the helicopter comfortably. Once players have done this, all three hangtime gaps are complete. Although fans may want to grind the helicopter later to find a secret in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.

This is a relatively simple challenge but it is good practice for larger jumps that come in the game and also helps develop combos that incorporate big airs. There are many more challenges to face in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 but if this can be done comfortably, players should be in good stead for the rest of the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
