Part of the movie’s appeal was seeing the three Spider-Man actors together not just for mere cameos, but for major roles that allowed some like the Oscar-nominated Garfield to show their acting chops in the process. Suffice to say the chemistry between Spider-Man: No Way Home’s actors goes beyond the screen, as they’ve shared anecdotes of going to the movie together and Holland hyped up Garfield for The Amazing Spider-Man 3.

That won’t stop Holland from giving away a bit too much information, as a recent appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers led to the actor confessing one of his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars wore a fake butt during filming. Holland noted he found himself uncomfortable having to lie about his co-stars’ involvement in the film and how the final scene with them came to be. However, without a doubt, the best moment is him telling Meyers one of the Spider-Man suits on set had a little extra padding.

Holland’s comments could push some to go watch the movie to find the fake butt culprit, although it’s not like Spider-Man: No Way Home needs any help with ticket sales. Even two months after its premiere, the film continues to perform well at the box office. The actor’s guest spot was mostly meant to promote his new Uncharted film, yet another early box office hit that again raises the bar for video game movie adaptations, despite some unresolved plot holes for Nathan Drake.

The real question now is, which Spider-Man was the one sporting the fake butt? Holland’s physical transformation process to get Spider-fit makes it hard to believe he was the one, but Maguire being the oldest in the trio and his quiet career turn him into the leading candidate for the “boosted” suit. Garfield too went to great lengths to get in shape when it was his time to become Peter Parker, though quite frankly, the answer to who had to resort to using the Spider-Butt could also come down to genetics.

Regardless of trivial details like this, Spider-Man: No Way Home clearly won over the hearts of many people, not only Marvel and Spider-Man fans, with many prominent voices in the industry praising the movie, though it also had a few high-profile detractors. In any case, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 might be the next big Spidey product out there, so until then maybe there’s a bit of time to focus on Peter’s backside.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is now playing in theaters.
