Those looking to watch the Tokyo Game Show outside of Japan will have a multitude of ways to do so. IGN will have cover for those in the United States, Huya will offer the same for China, and around the rest of the world gamers can watch live through the TGS Special Page on Steam. It is worth noting that all the times listed for the shows at TGS are in Japan Standard Time, meaning anyone wanting to catch a certain stream may be in for an early morning or late night depending on where they are. It seems Capcom is trying to give gamers a good chance at catching a glimpse of what it has coming, as the Street Fighter publisher has two streams planned for TGS.
These streams were outlined in Capcom’s recently revealed Tokyo Game Show plans. The famed company behind Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and so many more franchises has one show set for its new and existing releases not related to Street Fighter 6, and its second stream dedicated to the upcoming fighting title. Apart from Capcom’s double showcase, another interesting appearance at this year’s TGS will be one from Xbox, with plans to show off the games it has already announced. Some are hoping this could include some new gameplay for exciting titles like Starfield, but nothing like that has been confirmed.
What Xbox’s show at TGS will look like is unknown, but even if all the streams available at this year’s Tokyo Game Show aren’t enough for a gamer, September is set for some other major events as well. EGX London and PAX West are two other gaming shows set for September 2022, making the month a great one for video game fans.
