Trevor Bauer (vs. Twins) is an expensive boom-or-bust option, but we know he has the stuff to quiet even the best offenses. Joey Lucchesi (vs. Nationals) is in a similar spot against the Nationals, who have generally crushed lefties this year, so expect him to be faded heavily today.

On the value side, J.A. Happ (@Blue Jays) is particularly affordable on DraftKings, while Chris Archer (vs. Braves) looks like the best deal on FanDuel. That’s not saying much, so paying up might be your best option. Freddy Peralta (vs. Marlins) is in a good spot matchup-wise, and Jose Quintana (vs. Rockies) is relatively affordable and in a good spot for a win against a rookie pitcher.

Several games have at least a moderate chance of seeing rain at some point, with the Red Sox-Royals and Orioles-Rangers the most likely to see showers. Check the Fantasy Alarm Weather Center closer to lineup lock for the latest weather reports.

Today’s Daily Fantasy Baseball Pitcher Rankings: Thursday, June 6

wRC+ is defined by Fangraphs as “[measuring] how a player’s wRC compares with league average after controlling for park effects. League average for position players is 100, and every point above 100 is a percentage point above league average. For example, a 125 wRC+ means a player created 25% more runs than a league average hitter would have in the same number of plate appearances. Similarly, every point below 100 is a percentage point below league average, so a 80 wRC+ means a player created 20% fewer runs than league average.” For more on the stat, click here.
